Acai Scam – Is the Acai Diet a Scam – Does Acai Even Work?
Does Acai really work? Two years have nearly passed since Oprah first shed light on the Acai Berry Diet which she has now distanced herself from due to fraudulent activities conducted by suppliers, which came in the form of their auto-shipping policies.
That said, you only have to visit her website 2 years on to see that herself and Mr Perricone heavily endorsed this food, labeling it the Number 1 Super-food and to this day they are still singing it’s praises.
So, does the acai berry diet actually work?
Did it ever work?
Well – unfortunately in 2008, almost all the products on the market were Acai Scams as they were marketing the Acai berry diet through by just delivering freeze dried acai berry in a capsule – nothing else.
So for those that jumped on the bandwagon back then, you were simply purchasing a detox capsule, not a Weight Loss supplement.
This is not to undermine Acai berries nutritional ingredients which come in the shape of Amino Acid, Glutamic Acid, Fiber, Iron, Omega 6, Heta-sitosterol, Calcium, Aspartic acid, Potassium, Omega 9 or Oleic Acid, Protein, Phosporus and Vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, C and E.
This is quite a nutritional content that should not be smirked at – however – it’s only some of the recent products on the market which include the following metabolism boosting supplements which are essential if you want to lose weight:
